So I'm a resident of Romeoville so l normally go up to the liquor store to buy some liquor for my mancave. So working overnights for years l never got a chance to visit. So l said l need to get out and know the locals. OMFG this bar came to mind. I have met some amazing people there. And Taylor OMG the best bartender. I watched her Tuesday rock it was another male bartender there. She came in and BOOYAH took care of everyone waiting for a drink. She is a sweetheart and not to say the others aren't but after a long day from work l look now to unwind there and relax I'll be back. Thanks Taylor you ROCK!!! The Mailman
Great place, the owner is fabulous and the staff very friendly. Also the prices are outstanding, if your in the area give it a try.
Great local bar with a good beer selection and lots of liquor options. Live music and DJs on the weekend, otherwise a good quieter bar during the week. Ashley, Tiffany, MJ, and Meghan are amazing bartenders, and Chris the bar back works hard.
Had a blueberry bourbon drink and it was great and reasonably priced. Decent/Diverse music.
On the rocks is a nice bar that is about an hour outside the city of Chicago. We came here for the winter bash (9Feb2018) and to support a friend. On the rocks is next to a few other businesses and therefore shares the lot. The parking lot full of snow and we managed to find parking right away. Our friend drove us (my sister and I) all to the bar. We made our way to the door and walked inside to warmth. It's your typical bar but this one actually has 5 slot machines. The winter bash had free admission, appetizers, and entertainment. We all found seating and took our coats off. Everyone was super friendly! We partook in some of the appetizers and not long after everything began. People were coming in and excited for the night ahead. The DJ starts playing music and puts everyone in a good mood. Everyone ordering drinks and having a good time. My sister and I noticed a photo backdrop that we totally missed when we came through the entrance doors. I left my tripod behind so I asked someone to take a few photos and the more people wanted to get in; it was super awesome. My sister and I were pleasantly surprised that they had house made ginger beer. We're at our table; enjoying the music and our ginger beers on the rocks--get it, I got a ginger beer on the rocks at On the Rocks haha. The DJs energy was spectacular! People came up to us and we're super awesome. Round two of ginger beers please!! Around this time some of the Brazilian dancers came out to perform and a singer that had a lovely voice.
